Sitting on the deck outside, you would be forgiven for thinking that you were completely isolated from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the world, as you listen to the beautiful sounds of the forest (and the odd moo of a cow on the farm nearby) only occasionally being pierced by the sound of a car in the distance.  From the deck you can happily sit and watch birds, leaves flutter and sommersault to the forest floor, and trees dance in the wind.  This is life at ecOasis resort, located near the small village of Uki, in the New South Wales Hinterland, a 2 hour drive from Brisbane.

Having stayed at ecOasis resort a year ago we decided to stay visit again recently to recharge our batteries prior to the busy Christmas period.  The resort is set in 100 beautiful acres of sub-tropical rainforest with spectacular views of Mt Warning and offers 6 chalets, each so secluded you wouldn’t know that anyone was nearby.
