Egg Dosa and Spicy Garlic Treats..!

Wishing a marvellous day to all..!

Today, I'm bringing for you a delicious Egg dosa, Onion Garlic rasam and spicy chilly garlic podi..! Enjoy!

1. Egg Dosa:

This is my hubby's and brother-in-law's favourite more than the onion dosa. Try and enjoy..!



Ingredients:

1. Dosa batter - 1 cup,
2. Eggs - 2.

How to make this?

1. Take a scoop of batter, pour it on heat tawa and spread it in to a dosa.
2. Sprinkle oil on the sides. Cover and cook for 2mins.
3. Uncover, crack a egg on top of the dosa and spread it carefully and cover it again and cook on medium flame.
4. After 2mins, uncover and flip it to the other side and cook for 2mins and serve.

Delicious egg dosa tastes yummy with any chutney and sambar..!

2. Chilly Garlic Podi:

This is a very spicy simple quick podi done in 2minutes. Can be had occasionally and not daily.



Ingredients:

1. Red chilly powder - 2 tsp,
2. Garlic cloves - Big 2,
3. Gingerly oil - 3 tsp,
4. Salt - 1 tsp.

How to make this?

1. Hand crush garlic with chilly powder and salt.
2. Put in a bowl, add gingerly oil and mix well.
3. Convert in a air-tight container and store in a refregirator.

Mmm spicy falvourish podi ready to serve with idlis/dosas..!!:)

Sending the above dosa and podi and the following

1. Dosa and Tomato Dhal chutney
2. Poori and potato masiyal
3. Chappathi and white kuruma
4. Chicken Kothu parotta
5. Arisi puttu
6. Pongal, Parotta and kuruma

3. Onion Garlic rasam:

This is a delicious,flavourish and medicinal version too..! Try and enjoy!



Ingredients:

1. Pearl Onions - 5 chopped finely,
2. Tomato - 1 chopped,
3. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp,
4. Salt - as needed,
5. Oil - as needed,
6. Cilantro and curry leaves for garnish,
7. Tamarind juice - 1/4 cup,
8. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp,
9. Asefeotida powder - 1 tsp,
10. Green chilly - 1 Slit lengthwise.

To crush:

1. Pearl onions - 2,
2. Garlic clove - 1,
3. Black peppercorns - 1 tsp,
4. Cumin seeds - 11/2 tsp.

How to make this?

1. Crush the above given ingredients and keep it aside.
2. Heat oil in a kadai, add the mustard seeds, asefeotida powder and let them splutter.
3. Add the green chilly and onions and saute for a min. Add the tomatoes and saute for 3mins.
4. Add the tamarind powder, salt and saute for 3mins and cook till mashed.
5. Add the tamarind juice, crushed spices and enough water and mix well, put on high flame.



6. Put the cilantro and curry leaves on top and switch off in the first boil.

Tastes great with white rice/ just as a hot soup too..!:)
