Ezogelin Corbas? aka Turkish Comfort Food in a Bowl
![]() Ok, I have always wanted to try Turkish food! I came across this recipe and I was so excited to try it! You may have heard I am trying to get healthy, so this recipe appealed to me on a couple levels. First and foremost, it's ethnic, and I loves me some ethnic food! Second, two CUPS worth is only 317 calories! And those are some protien packing, lip smacking cups! This soup (actually more of a stew) is loaded with lentils, brown rice, and bulgur wheat. It also has mint, which I was initially nervous about as I have never used fresh mint in anything. I was pleasantly surprised though; it did not make the soup taste like toothpaste, it just brightened the dish a bit. I love the squeezing of lemon on top as a finishing touch, very tasty! We had this with a little bit of pita bread and some crisp white wine. Anyway, check it out sometime when you're feeling adventurous. Have a fantastic weekend everyone! related searches : Ezogelin
