Felted Brooches

I have always been intrigued by wool felting. It doesn't sound that interesting, but one can find pretty wool sweaters at the thrift store, put them on hot in the washer and eventually have a completely unique piece with which to work.

I tried my hand at this last weekend and ended up making some beads, which I hope to make into a necklace. I just need to find the time!

I love felted brooches. Unfortunately, the dog chewed up my most favorite one (he is one naughty dog at times) shown below in the first picture:
