Follow that Extension Cord

After breakfast, the house got really quiet. I had my nose buried in my laptop, so I didn’t notice right away. But, eventually, the silence made me curious– mostly because my husband and pug are rarely quiet for long.

With in a few seconds, I discovered this:

An extension cord that went from our second floor apartment.

All the way downstairs.

And out the front door.

It eventually led me to this scene:

At least they weren’t getting themselves into trouble!

Murphy loves helping Dad. And, today, he enjoyed barking at random people walking by on the street. Generally, Murphy’s not much of a barker, so I don’t know what got into him. Maybe the sound of the vacuum cleaner was agitating him?

For lunch, I enjoyed a delicious bowl of spaghetti squash with roasted grape tomatoes, olive oil, Garlic Gold, and grated Parmesan cheese. Surprisingly, this meal was quite filling!

A little while later, I felt munch-y, so I made a plate with crackers and cucumber slices with sea salt sprinkled on top. Now, I want something sweet to eat. I’m thinking pitted dates or a Larabar.

Time to take the pug for a walk.
