Yesterday I was lucky enough to hang out in Los Angeles all day with The White on Rice Couple and learn a few tricks of the trade. I swear, just being in the same room with Todd and Diane helps make me a better photographer!


There were about twelve of us there, and it was a blast to make new friends (Bao, I’m still thinking about your amazing ice cream and Lynda, it was a pleasure sharing a cab with you!!), learn more about photography and, of course, eat great food.


These ten food photos were my absolute favorites from the hundred or so that I shot yesterday. And I’m sure you’ll realize why when you look at them (macaroons, anyone?!).

p.s.-I did not end up in Mexico after all.


p.p.s- I remembered to leave my mace (and tennis shoes) at home.
