Foodie Recap

By Girl Stuck In A Rut (Visit website)

I'm still here! Did ya think I disappeared? Sorry about that. It's just been a busy couple days. It's been a great week eating wise though. I've been completely on track!

Here was Tuesday's meals:

2 pc whole wheat toast w/1 egg +1 egg white scrambled with 20g shredded cheese and Frank's. I also had a coffee. Delicious!

Lunch was a smoothie; 1c coconut water, 1/2c Almond Breeze, 1/2 frozen banana, 4 cubes of watermelon-frozen, 1 Tbsp hemp hearts, 1Tsp bee pollen, and 1 Tsp Spirulina. It was a really pretty pink before adding the Spirulina, so if you can't handle the color, just skip that part ;-)

I also made an individual Life Choices 7 grain crust, cheese pizza and added pineapple. I was really leery about this brand as I have tried their fish sticks and thought they were horrid but the pizza was actually very good!

Best Snackage ever!

Dinner was a teriyaki stir fry; .5c brown rice w/4 different kinds mushrooms, yellow pepper, zucchini, bok choy, and cashews. Served with .5c cottage cheese and a BBQ corn on the cob. Fabulous!!

Tuesday evening we took our dogs for a brisk 30min walk. They loved it and were so well behaved! We passed several dogs along the way and no one reacted at all! Bonus!

Yesterday looked like this:

3/4c cereal w/.5 banana and .5 Almond Breeze. 1 pc whole wheat toast w/1 Tbsp P.B. and a coffee of course!

A couple hrs later I munched on kiwi...

Sorry for the blurry picture but I was out running errands yesterday and had 3" of a 6" whole wheat sub. I had ranch spread, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles, red onions, lettuce and 1 slice Havarti. It was good!

Trying to use these up. There just ok. Costco's almonds are much better!

Dinner was lazy man's way~ order pizza! I was so busy trying to package that we ordered in. This is a 9" Greek goddess (traded hubby for 1 of his veggie). I ate 3 delicious pieces.

Later in the evening I had 1c frozen yogurt but forgot to snap a shot!

Today is getting the last of my orders finished. Yesterday a big mistake was made on one of my batches. Unfortunately I have to remake it. ARG!! Such as waste of time and money!! Nothing I can do about it though so I must suck it up!

See you tonight with today's eats. Have a great Thursday friends :-)

Goodfellas . In our opinion, one of the best movies of all time, and one we can watch over and over. Good thing, too, since lately it seems to be on AMC every day! As you probably know, it's not a movie about food, but about a group of[...]
