GIRL'S DAY: CREAM CHEESE ICE CREAM BOWLS & MINT JULEPS
These ice cream bowls are amazing and are great for a crowd!! They last in the freezer forever so you can keep a bunch on hand. Got a birthday party coming up these are perfect because you can top them with anything. Lets not forget you can eat the bowl who wouldn't love that!! The mint juleps very versitile and refreshing in the summer. You can make it as minty as you want. Don't like mint make a orange or pineapple juleps. It up to you, girl's day is all about fun!!!!!!! ICE CREAM BOWLS: 5 packs of cream cheese(softened, 8 oz each) 2 cups-powdered sugar(use more if needed) 2 cups-heavy whipping cream ADD INS: * chunks of fruit: pineapple strawberries blueberries bananas mangos raspberries cherries any other fruit you like *nuts *chocolate chips *lime zest or juice *lemon zest or juice TOPPINGS: *caramel sauce *ice cream *sherbet *nuts *strawberry syrup *chocolate sundae syrup *apple cinnimon topping *triple berry topping *whipped cream *butterscotch sauce *fruit *sorbet * candy *cookies MINT JULEPS: 2 cups-sugar 4 cups-water 2 mint sprigs(more if needed) 3 cups-rum or lemonade 3 cups-ginger ale or lemon lime soda *Ice WATCH ME MAKE THESE GIRL'S DAY TREATS: Ice Cream Bowls......... 1. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and cream.(Mixture should be thick but not to thick and not to loose, its best to use a hand mixer) 2. Divide cream cheese into bowls. 3. Stir the add ins of you choice into each bowl. 4. Spoon some of each mixture onto a cookie sheet, make an indention with a spoon in the center. 5. Freeze for 2 hours or until set. 6. Serve with you choice of ice, sorbet, or sherbet and toppings ENJOY!! Mint Juleps..... Combine sugar and water in a boil, let boil 3 to4 minutes. FOR A STRONG MINT FLAVOR: Pour the hot sugar syrup over the mint, cover let stand 5-10 minutes. Disregard mint before using. FOR A LIGHT MINT FLAVOR: Place a mint sprig in each seving glass and pour drink over it. TO MAKE THIS DRINK: Combine sugar syrup, rum, and ginger ale, stir serve over ice. TIPS: * The ice cream bowls last forever in the freezer, just wrap them in plastic wrap you might even forget they're in there. * If you don't like mint leave it out of the drink. related searches : Girl
