Grass Goddess

By Eat, Live, Run (Visit website)

Hey guys!

Blogging again from a parking lot…but this time, the cell phone parking lot at the San Francisco airport as I wait for my mom’s flight to get here. So far it’s delayed. :(

But first, GREEN FEST!!!!

What a totally cool event!!! Y’all would have gone crazy……hundreds of booths filled with organic products. I’m incredibly proud of myself for not buying anything! I did leave with a ton more GRASS but that’s to be expected. ;)

I snacked on one of my favorite bars—

Drank some kombucha—

Had a few sips of acai juice, which I loved!

And also chugged some some kids berry superfood, which is oh so delicious. I swear, the stuff tastes like grape juice. Here’s another fun Amazing Grass fact for y’all. I sent Kevin a huge box of the stuff to test out and he is 100% addicted (his favorites are the chocolate energy bars and the berry SuperFood!) and tonight he said all the guys on line at the restaurant were chugging SuperFood right before service started at Woodfire. How crazy cool is THAT?! ;) Yay for grass!

I left the show around 5:30 and headed to the Marina to meet Lindsay and Amber for dinner at The Plant Cafe! I was so excited to eat here because Kath’s food looked aaaaamazing from the other day and I’ve heard great things. Needless to say, it did not disappoint!

I had the “plant burger” after great reviews—

YUM!!!! I’m just going to say: this was the very best veggie burger I’ve EVER had. It was absolutely perfect in every way. The only flaw I could find was that it was a tad messy (or maybe that was just me?). They make the burger in house with beets, lentils and grains…and then I had it topped with white cheddar, caramelized onions and avocado on grilled sourdough bread. I ate every last crumb!

I also grabbed two cookies to go in case my mom was hungry after her long flight. 1 peanut butter and 1 oatmeal raisin…..I was only going to eat half of the peanut butter but it was just TOO good so I ate the whole thing! ;)

Thank you girls for meeting me and hanging out!

Time to check flight status…..did I mention that DEXTER is with her????!!!! ;)
