Greek Yogurt Parfait, Green Vibrance and PB & Banana
Good Afternoon! It is only 1:00pm and I have already eaten/drank 3 of my favorites! It has been a banner day already. I slept in until 6:00am- whoa, that is late for me and I really needed it! I am looking forward to the summer because I will not have to get up at 5:00am anymore or at least I don't think so. Only 4 1/2 days left of school and you can definitely feel the seismic shift in behavior. When I dropped the kids off this morning the school had a completely different feel... the restless behavior was definitely out there! SO the morning did not start out as I was hoping.... the scale was holding steady and I really thought it would dip down. I went to bed hungry and did not indulge in any cookies but such is life, today is another day to bring it down. I started out with a Greek Yogurt Parfait. Greek Yogurt Parfait 3/4 cup Fage 0% Greek Yogurt- 85 calories 1/2 cup of Raspberries-30 calories 1/4 cup of rolled oats-75 calories Drizzle of Agave Nectar- 15 calories 1 tablespoon walnuts- 50 calories 255 calories Mix the above ingredients altogether and enjoy. This is super satisfying and very filling. All my favorites- greek yogurt, rolled oats, berries, nuts... I guess I should have added a little flax to the mix. That would be a nice addition. After teaching class and squeezing a short run in I came home thirsty! I made myself a Peach Green Vibrance Smoothie today. Peach Green Vibrance Smoothie 1 packet Green Vibrance- 45 calories 1/2 packet Jay Robb's Vanilla Whey Powder- 55 calories 1/2 cup Trop50 OJ- 25 calories 1/2 cup frozen peaches- 30 calories 1/2 cup water Handful of Ice Cubes 155 calories I can't tell you how much I love Green Vibrance. It really makes me feel great especially after a nice run! My daily debate over what to have for breakfast was between Greek Yogurt Parfait and Peanut Butter and Banana English Muffin. So the PB& Banana was already on the brain so I decided to have it for lunch. I can't express to you how much I enjoy this meal. There is something about the Food for Life Ezekiel English Muffins and of course, the combination of peanut butter and banana is fabulous! PB & Banana Ezekiel English Muffin 1 Food For Life - Ezekiel 4:9 7 Sprouted Grain English Muffin- 160 Calories 1 Small Banana, Sliced- 75 calories 1 tablespoon Naturally More Peanut Butter-85 calories 320 calories So I have had 730 calories so far today. I am not really a calorie counter but from time to time I do keep count, especially when I want to drop a couple lbs. I am happy with that number and would love to keep my total for today at 1500 calories. We shall see how it goes... I also received a fun little package in the mail from Yogi Tea. I got 3 free samples along with a coupon. I am looking forward to trying all 3 especially the Berry Detox. Time to pick up the kids and run a few errands. Have a great afternoon! related searches : Greek
