Green Bean Sides

Simply in Season offers 5 simple green bean sides. Who says they’re only good drowned in butter?

1 lb green beans

2 Tbs olive oil

2 cloves minced garlic

1/4 cup slivered almonds

2 Tbs Parmesan cheese (grated)


1. Cook beans for 5-10 minutes in a small a mount of water, until crisp tender.


2. Saute’ the garlic, oil, and almonds. Add the beans, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with cheese and serve.


Servings: 4
