Green Moong Sprout Sabzi/ Pacha Payaru Poriyal
![]() Ingridents: Whole moong 2 Cups Onion 1/2 Cup Garlic 2 Cloves Finely chopped ginger 1/2 Tsp Chopped coriander 3 Tbsp Green Chillies 2 or 3 Tomatto - 2 Curry leaves 2 leaves Oil 2 Tbsp Mustard 1/2 Tsp Channa daal 1/2 Tsp Urad daal 1/4 Tsp Salt to taste Time Required: 30 mins Directions: Soak moong in plenty of water for 6 to 8 hours. drain the water and keep it in a sprout maker over night. Or you can buy sprouted moong beans from any of the vegetable shopes. Pressure cook or steam cook the sprouted moong. Heat oil in a frying pan. When the oil is hot add mustard. Once mustard is done, add urad daal and channa daal. When they change color add green chillies, ginger, garlic, curry leaves and onion and tomatto fry till onion becomes translucent. Add the water put the garam masala, haldi, pinch of sugar, salt cook for 2 mins. Now add cooked moong and salt. Mix well. & cook for 10 mins. Serving: Garnish with coriander and serve hot with rice/chapati. related searches : Green
