1. Always shop with a list in hand and a calculator. 2. When you find bell peppers on sale buy extra, cut them up and freeze them up to 1 month. Use them in soups, or stews. 3. Don’t buy extra perishables such as fruits and vegetable because they’ll probably go bad before use them. 4. Buy your local Sunday newspaper and clip the coupons. Let the kids clip the coupons; it’s a great lesson on how much things cost. 5. Store coupons in a notebook with baseball plastic sleeves. File the coupons in alphabetical order or by categories. 6.
