11. Put a piece of paper on the refrigerator to add items to the list as you use them.

13. Check the cost per ounce to see which item costs less. The stores tend to take away a few ounces from a product and put a cheaper price on it. You think you?re getting a better deal, but you?re actually paying more.


14. Take a calculator with you and add things up as you shop.


15. Check out the sales ads for sales on frequently used items. Buy more and save later.
