Guy's Iced Tea

I just love Guy's Big Bite on the Food Network and love even more most of his drink concoctions!  This is an adaptation from his Tea Total-er recipe and it was a little different then most teas, but very refreshing and was a hit at a recent party!

Guy's Iced Tea

INGREDIENTS:

6 cups water
1/4 cup agave syrup
1/4 cup sugar
8 tea bags
2 cups ice cubes, plus more for serving
1 can ginger ale

DIRECTIONS:

In a mdeium saucepan over high heat, add the water, agave syrup and sugar, bring to a boil.  Turn off the heat and add the tea bags.  Let steep for 5 minutes.  Remove the tea bags and add the 2 cups of ice cubes.  When the tea is cool, put a few ice cubes in a glass and add the tea until 3/4 full, and top with ginger ale.

**You can also add 2 cups vodka when the tea is cooled, that's how Guy did it.
