Hittin the Bottle
I have a feeling tomorrow will be a dedicated cleaning day! I created quite the array of messes around my apartment today. Between partial unpacking (yes, unpacking) a postage party of all sorts birth and holiday, and a beading bonanza, I had quite the productive afternoon. Leaving quite the paper trail. I was so excited to sit down with all the goods and start bringing things to life. I futzed around with a few ideas, getting a feel for their possibilities before heading to Yoga. In congruence with my day, I was a bit out of sorts in class tonight. Not necessarily "off", jut not back in the swing yet, it will come! It simply took me a bit longer to get into the groove tonight, but it felt wonderful to move my body and work up a good sweat. After a short hiatus, it was very rewarding indeed! I came home tonight with a plan, and executed immediately. It was everything I could hope for all contained inside one plate Sweet Potato and BBQ Temeh with Onions Spinach Salad with celery, cilantro, pears, and grapes sprinkled with spicy pepitas I marinated my Tempeh in a mixture of my Country Bob's, a bit of soy sauce, and some Maple syrup. I grilled it on the stovetop for about 4 minutes each side. After dinner, I hit up Whole Foods. I figured it was a good way to avoid the crowds. Or maybe I was just having withdrawals. Either way I found myself shopping the aisles, mindlessly grabbing bright and shiny objects per usual. I found a great new product, now sold exclusively at Whole Foods! 3 Sisters Cereal, a fun new line of all natural cereals. The company runs on renewable wind energy, and use cut out the box for an eco-friendly delivery. Tres Chic! I snagged a bag of the Graham Crackerz and enjoyed a mug of it for a snack when I got home. Ok, and maybe some in the car too. Graham Crackerz with Banana and Raisins in Soy This was love at first bite, sorry Puffins you have met your match! And again, with the nostalgia! Eerily reminiscent of the childhood classic, Golden Grahams. Sweet, but not overly so with a quality crunch. Luckily I overpoured my milk, so not to waste, I promptly enjoyed another handful. I see this becoming a nightly thing. Edit: Bad vegan, bad! Sadly, this will not "be a nightly thing!" How did I miss the milk ingredient?! Looks like Dad's getting a surprise tomorrow! :) Thank you all for your Input on my earlier post! I loved hearing all your go to protein sources, it was a great help! I think I may start incorporating some Protein Powders into my diet once school starts. It will be easy to stash individual packs in my bag and sip casually. Nut butters would be my first choice, but sometimes things can get a bit messy. Im so glad they invented those cute little squeezies. Individual Justin's packs were ingenious! I'm sure those will make a few appearances as well. Im off to surrender to the spell of Top Chef, Have a great night! Love and Love to everyone.
