Home-made pizza!
This is a bit of a hit and miss sometimes... mostly because we get hungry and don't want to wait for the base to rise. Putting it straight into the oven will still get you a pizza, just not as nice a pizza. Serves 4 Ingredients Base 500 g strong bread flour 7 g instant yeast Pinch of salt Large glass of warm water. Toppings Anything and everything you have handy Tin of tomatoes Cheese Method Dissolve the yeast in the glass of water. Leave to sit for a few minutes. Mix the flour and the salt. Make a grove in the middle of the flour. Pour in a small amount of the liquid. Mix with a fork. Continue to slowly add the liquid into the flour until you have a wet dough. Flour a clean surface Cover the dough in flour and lift onto surface. Knee for 30 seconds. Leave to rise for at least an hour. Roll out into as pizza like a shape as you can manage. Cover with your toppings. Tonight I used 4 tomatoes, half a red onion, some feta cheese, mozzarella, and a handful of beef mince. Rough calorie count: 530 kcal per serving. related searches : Home
