Honey Dijon Mustard Pork Chops
Honey-Dijon Mustard Pork Chops my photo didn't do this recipe justice, so I used this from Taste of Home 6 servings Prep/Total time: 30 mins Ingredients 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard OR use Honey Mustard Sauce recipe below 6 boneless pork loin chops (8 ounces each and 3/4-inch thick) 1/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs Dash pepper-OPTIONAL Directions Spread mustard on both sides of pork chops. Place in a greased shallow 2-qt. baking dish. Combine crumbs and pepper; press onto top and sides of chop. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 20-25 minutes or until meat juices run clear and topping is lightly browned. Yield: 6 servings. Nutritional Analysis: One serving equals 179 calories 6 g fat (2 g saturated fat) 72 mg cholesterol 424 mg sodium 6 g carbohydrate 0.55 g fiber 25 g protein Diabetic Exchanges: 3 lean meat. Honey Mustard Sauce 8 servings Prep time: 5 mins Ingredients 1/2 cup Dijon mustard 1/2 cup honey 4 teaspoons soy sauce 2 teaspoons sugar Directions In a bowl, whisk together all ingredients until blended. Yield: 1 cup. Nutrition Facts: 1 serving (2 tablespoons) equals 89 calories 1 g fat (trace saturated fat) 0 cholesterol 533 mg sodium 20 g carbohydrate trace fiber 1 g protein. *My husband liked this and he usually doesn't care for dijon mustard.
