We'll be taking off bright and early the Monday after the wedding and heading for sunny Ft. Lauderdale, FL. We've been to Ft. Lauderdale together before and decided to book a less expensive hotel near the airport this time since we would only be there for one night. We got a great deal through Expedia for about $200 per person, including both round-trip airfare and hotel for one night.
We don't have great plans for Ft. Lauderdale this trip, but we'll probably find a nice restaurant and have dinner before catching up on sleep from the previous week's lack of it.
The hotel that we'll be staying at in Ft. Lauderdale is the Sheraton Suites Plantation. It's not a 5-Star hotel, but it's a Sheraton and we'll be more than satisfied with what they have to offer, I'm sure. We'll be waking up in the morning and heading for Port Everglades to board the Holland America ms Noordam for our 10-night Southern Caribbean Cruise. We can't wait!
