How To Make Indian Cottage Cheese or Paneer
Home made paneer tastes great! I made it many times. It 's very easy to make and much better than store bought. This can be done in 15-20 minutes. Ingredients: 3 litre skimmed milklemon juice from 1 big lemon Boil the milk in a heavy bottomed vessel. When it's boiling reduce the heat and add lemon juice drop by drop. Keep stirring the milk and bring it to boil. When the milk curdles remove from the fire. Pour it in a strainer and drain all the whey( I used big stainless steel strainer) Press slightly over it to remove the excess whey. Cover a lid and place a heavy weight on it for 4-5 hours.
