HOW TO MAKE SPROUTS AT HOME
As i read through the posts, i happened to stumble upon the sprouts dishes. So i thought i'd add in a post on 'how to make sprouts at home'. Specially coz we are so concerned about how hygienic and what conditions they are made in outside. Sprouts can be from Green Moong , White Peas (vatana) ,masoor dal and so many other varities. They can be stored for long in a zip lock bag in ur freezer. Here in Singapore its as sunny as it can be ..so i make them as and when i need it. Wash and soak the green moong dal for about 8 hours, in enough water till dal is submerged. Strain the water and transfer them to a colander or drainer ,a kitchen utensil with holes in it used for draining food. Now cover the vessel tight with a wet cloth. Leave it in the kitchen in a warm place, overnight about 8-10 hours.
