I?m not just an old soul?.

By The Hungry Yogini (Visit website)

?I?m just old! Well, at least my spine is. We are studying Anusara yoga this weekend and practiced this morning. And by we I mean everyone else practiced while I laid on the floor considering Stephen?s suggestion: ?We may have to put her down.? Dramatic, yes?but it sounds good at the moment. Booooooo. My back is just KILLING me. Lots of pain all down my left leg too. Tingling, numbness, the works. This happens every so often (read here for more info) and ice and stretching usually helps. That?s the plan for today. In fact, I have an ice pack in my pants on my lower back now.

We left for our break around 10:00 and I came home to ice my back and relax. I did, however, feel good enough to make some lunch. Just a big salad with the last of the rotisserie chicken, cucumber slices, carrots and hummus on top of some baby romaine.

And of course some dessert. I whipped out the Blendtec to make a mango smoothie. Just a ripe mango, vanilla hempmilk and ice. Oh. My. God. Seriously, this blender is amazing. It turned into a thick, luscious concoction. So thick in fact that I drizzled it wish some agave nectar and ate it with a spoon.

Mmmm…

Ok. I?m off for another afternoon. I?m actually feeling a bit better now that I have had ice on for a while. Not gonna do anything too crazy though. See ya!
