I'm A Terrible, Terrible Person.

By The (Un)Domestic Life (Visit website)

I have something to confess. I ate a microwaveable meal for dinner.

I know, I know. The whole point of this blog is to teach myself how to cook. And I know it's still early days. But it's cold and rainy outside and I'm feeling under the weather (two weather references with two different meanings!). Please forgive me.

I decided to try the Healthy Choice "Homestyle Salisbury Steak." I don't know whose home they're referring to because I sure as hell never ate Salisbury steak growing up. It's not too unattractive looking in person, although it does differ quite a bit from the picture on the box.

Actually, it is kind of unattractive.

Don't worry, I'm already thinking up ideas for things I can make (with my limited ingredients) tomorrow. I'm ashamed of the decision I made tonight. Microwaveable meals make me feel like a bad housewife.

Survey says...

SOMEWHAT TASTY!
