This is a 10? double layer round Italian cream cake with a cream cheese frosting. My customer Dana wanted a different flavor cake other than the basic white or chocolate. So I suggested this cake which has a lot of flavor and texture. Italian cake has pecan pieces and shredded coconut in the batter. She wanted something pretty and elegant for her friends that are leaving. I came up with this design of a basket weave around the sides of the cake and a rosebud trim and pretty arrangement of flowers out of buttercream on top. I received an over whelming response of how good and moist this cake tasted. Now that just makes my day that my loyal clients are happy with my work.
