Jimbaran Seafood Court

This place is one of "must places to visit" for Indonesian tourists.

The location is very close to Ayana resort, Jimbaran. If you can not find it, just ask the people around you. For sure they will know as it is a famous place.

Do not surprise when you get there if you will see a lot of buses !

Jimbaran also our favorite dinner place when we have friends come over Bali. When Steve's dad visited us last year, we went there also.

When the first time Steve took me there a year ago for dinner, I was surprised because of all the tables placed a long the beach. In Batam there are some food courts on the beach but the beach so much different compares to Bali beaches! The beach in Batam soooo dirty and even Bali beach not really clean but Jimbaran is cleaner than Kuta ha ha. I could see the planes as well because it is very close to Bali International Airport. Sometimes you can see the tail of the plane when the plane sooo huge !

We always go to Jimbaran for dinner when or after the sun goes down.The candle lights sooo beautiful.

The restaurant where we usually go is Teba Mega Cafe.

You choose your own fish or seafood. Last time we went there about a couple week ago for 1 kg of Red Snapper is 70K.

It was cost us about 170K for 2 persons.

The price was included the fish and the seafood that we ordered, also rice, green vegetable (usually kangkung, also known as water cress), different kind of sauces and chillies, also a fruit platter for dessert. If you do not finished what you order, you can ask them to doggy bag it for you ^_^

One day we went out with 3 of Steve's friends and it was cost us about 500K for 5 persons, included 2 bottles of Bintang beer and 3 fruit juices.

That time we ordered about 3 red snappers, 1 kilo of shrimps, a half of kilo Mussels, 1 squid.

The price is reasonable price and you can eat until your stomach full ... I usually lazy to go home after dinner in Jimbaran because I always eat a lot there. :D

Also you can choose the way how your fish and sea foods cook.

I usually order BBQ for the Fish and Mussels, Deep fried in powder for the squid and prawns.

This place is highly recommended also by lonely planet but for sure recommended by "The 2 Gastronauts"!
