Good Afternoon! It has been way to long since my last blog and A LOT has happened. We successfully helped move my sister and family to Keller, TX, (a few tears were shed), and I think they are going to be very happy there. They are living in a nice home in a kid-friendly neighborhood, near great shopping. Just where they need to be right now in their lives. It is only 3 1/2 hours from Austin and we will be visiting frequently and my sister and I talk on the phone everyday anyways so life is all good! My eats over the weekend were not great... I drank way to much coffee and I have not worked out yet today because Zoe graduated from Kindergarten today! I was not going to miss the graduation so I got the owner of Baby Boot Camp to cover for me today (thank you Ely). The school year has flown by and I can't believe how different Zoe is from the beginning of school. She really is a big kid now! So sad. So the school had a very cute Kindergarten Graduation and I could tell that Zoe was just thrilled. SO far today has been a Go Lean Day.... I started out with Go Lean Waffles with PB, Banana and Raspberries. I love this breakfast! And then lunch turned out to be a quick bowl of Fage 0% Yogurt topped with Go Lean Crunch, Berries and my new favorite Pizzey's Flax. Yum! We have 3 1/2 days left of schools with lots of parties and I get to teach my first official yoga class tomorrow at 11:00am at Hill Country Fitness! I am excited and a bit nervous. I have enlisted a few friends to come for moral support and I think it is going to be fun. Steve is going to be traveling once again this week so the kids and I will have a fun celebration on the last day of school and once he gets back the kids want to go out for Sushi, I am so lucky that my kids like it as much as I do~! Zoe does not eat the raw sushi but love Japanese food so it all works out. Ms. Inglis' Insects- Class of 2008-2009 Zoe's Graduation Day So I am going to set forth some Summer Goals for myself: Enjoy Life (I start with the easy stuff) Enjoy having the kids home (again... love having them home but can be a challenge with work as well). Workout Everyday even if that means just 30 minutes of something Journal Food Work on being consistent with healthy diet. Work on taking off last 4 lbs (we all have our goals)and KEEPING off. I personally fluctuate up and down between 4lbs and can directly contribute it to my sweet tooth. I eat healthy 80% of the time and everyday indulge in a little something sweet 20% of the day. Which is fine but I would like to reign my treats in just a bit. I have been a little stressed and have been eating less healthy stuff to make room for a few too many cookies and I really feel better if my "treat" is under 200 calories. This past week my daily treats have been 300 + calories. So instead of 2 large Mesquite Chocolate Chip Cookies, I am going to allow myself one... and if I don't think I can eat just one then I am going to stick with something portion controlled, such as a Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwich. Thank you for letting me talk out loud about my eating goals... it really truly helps me be more accountable. And in keeping with my personal goals I am going to squeeze in a 30 minute workout before picking up the kids. SOmething is better than nothing. related searches : June
