KAF: "faux-reos"

By Neo-Homesteading (Visit website)

I made this faux-reo's recipe after seeing it featured on the KAF blog. They aren't quite like oreo's obviously but they are really good. My husband and kids can knock out an entire sack in one night, this interpretation of them you can be sure that will not happen, they are quite rich. They're almost like a whoopie pie but crisp little rich cookies.

Instead of making any of their fillings I made a double berry filling that was nice and fluffy and soft. Next time I try these I think I might actually order some of the black cocoa it looks so delicious.
