A nice cake, tribute to the King, perfect for a nice January !

Ingredients

2 puff pastries
5 ounces powdered almonds
1/2 cup sugar
2 ounces softened butter
3 eggs

Preparation

Cook time30 min

Mix together the sugar and the powdered almonds, then add the softened butter. Finally, add the eggs and mix well.
Put the first pastry in a pie tin, then pour the batter in it.
Fold back the edges of the pastry, and brush with some egg white to make it stick.
Cover with the second pastry, and fold it so it stick to the bottom pastry.
Brush with a beaten egg, then draw patterns using a knife.
Bake 45 minutes at 360°F.
