is an exotic sidedish that can be served as a sidedish alongside many main courses including 1) Idli 2) Dosa/Dosai 3) Chapathi 4) Paratha/Parota 5) Idiyappam/idiyapam/Sevai/Rice Sevai Ingredients Needed : Onions/Big Onions - 4 Tomatoes - 4 Turmeric powder - a pinch (for color) Dhania Powder - 2tsp Mixed vegetables(cut/diced) - carrots, cauliflower, cabbage,potatoes - 3 cups Green peas(cooked/dry) - 1/4cup Chillipowder - 1.5 to 2tsp as per requirement Thick curd/yoghurt - 1 cup green chillies(slit lengthwise) - 2 Salt - as needed Oil - as needed(approximately 3 tsp) Masala items - cardamom,cloves,cinnamon - ground together Coconut - fresh grated - 3 tsp Cashew nuts - 10 poppy seeds - 2tsp Method Of Preparation : 1) Finely dice onions, tomatoes 2) Steam cook all the vegetables 3) Heat oil in apan, add garam masala items, chillies, onions 4) Fry till the onions turn golden brown. Add finely diced tomatoes 5) Add dhania powder and fry for aminute 6) Add coconut paste, cooked vegetables, salt, turmeric, chilly power 7) Cook well 8) Add whipped curd at the end 9) Boil for a minute 10) Remove from stove 11) Garnish with chopped corriander This can be served hot as side course. related searches : Kurma
