La Bella
Although every eating establishment on the SUNY Purchase campus offers various pizza options, they just don?t seem to fix that craving for quality cheese and dough. This is where La Bella Restaurant and Pizzeria can help out. Located minutes away from campus, near Stop and Shop, La Bella supplies students with the yummy Italian food Purchase doesn?t have. This tiny Northern Italian eatery offers lunch, dinner, and catering options seven days a week from 11am to 10pm, which means that midnight pizza cravings will have to be left to some other pizza place. If you stop into La Bella it doesn?t look like much. A tiny restaurant with at most four tables, the typical case full of pizza ready to be tossed into the huge hot ovens slice by slice and a TV perfectly placed right above the Pepsi fridge full of sodas and salad dressing and the friendly Italian guy standing behind the counter, keeps the secret of what they have to offer under wraps. The large menu includes everything from traditional appetizers, soups, salads, pasta dishes, baked pasta, chicken, fish and veal dishes, and of course they have pizza and ?La Bella?s Original Gourmet Pizzas? for the times you want to treat yourself to something unique. Now, if you just want to stop in and think you?ll get two slices make sure you are really hungry. La Bella is generous with the size of their slices and one can fill you up. For $2.25 a plain slice can quickly satisfy that pizza craving in no time. If you are checking out their website, there is a section for student specials, which says it is ?Coming Soon.? However, if you are a student living on campus, it is very likely you have had the ?COLLEGE STUDENT SPECIALS? flyer shoved under your door multiple times. Seeing the large cheese pie for $10.95 rather then the typical $12.99 seemed like a great idea my friends and me. Sadly, we were disappointed that when our pizza arrived we were charged the full amount rather then the student rate even though we had mentioned it on the phone. Word of advice, ask about the special and make sure that they will definitely give you the money off. Besides little trip ups like the overcharging on the special, La Bella is a safe bet for good pizza and most of their other food options. Check it out and enjoy your cheesy grub! *Image from Labellawp.com* related searches : Bella
