Lamberts Mill Opening

This weekend saw the opening of a new outlet for us, and indeed the opening of the whole Lambert Mill shopping experience in Rawtenstall. The mayor opened the complex and it was well attended throughout the day by the general public - if not by the local press! Now its just a case of spreading the word. All publicity is good.

The owner Shaun and his team have worked really hard on the Mill and the result is a credit to all concerned. Downstairs is a furniture showroom featuring lots of unusual pieces as well as beds, sofas, carpets and bedroom furniture. The footwear museum has also been re-opened and is definitely worth a visit.

Upstairs is an interesting mix of products from local producers. Producers have been chosen from the local area which can only be a good thing for the local economy. Of course Fantasy Cupcakes are in there selling not only our fresh cupcakes, but also cupcake-related merchandise and products, china cake stands, teapots and cups, and vintage china tea sets.

There's also hand made belgian chocolate gifts, Fitzpatrick's Cordials, clogs and leather goods, silk flowers, a gift shop, footwear, textiles, handbags, special diet biscuits, jams and chutneys, local artwork, jewellery, candles, handmade cosmetics and Lancashire Sauce - to name but a few of the products available.

There's also a wonderful bright and airy tea rooms which is a superb mix of modern and traditional selling a great selection of lunches, teas, coffees and cakes. Well worth a visit.

So.................don't hang around - get down there to Lambert's Mill on Fallbarn Road in Rawtenstall and see whats going on.
