Lapse

By Frosted Rosepetals (Visit website)

So, I've been blogging about being on this wheat free, health kick all week. Well, yesterday i lapsed. I was hungry and i had no more spelt bread, no more wheat free snacks and i ended up eating a.....CORNISH PASTY WITH QUAVERS! OK, so sue me its a pasty and i live in Devon. But still!
I thought it would be OK, but that evening i started feeling like my muscles and joints were aching (I'm only 25 and i know i sound old !). At first i thought it was the cold but it wasn't the same kind of achy feeling. And then i realised that a lot of people that go off Wheat / gluten notice that when they do eat it again , can get ceased joints.
IS THAT WHAT HAPPENED?? I don't know. But i don't want it to happen again. So i rushed out and bought supplies.

After buying supplies me and the Belster (daughter.and no , that's not her real name. its a nickname)...decided to have a look in Waterstones (bookshop).
I started to browse the cooking section and came across a book that I've been eyeing on Amazon for a while.By Harry Eastwood called Red Velvet Chocolate Heartache I didn't know what was in it , all i know that it had 5 stars. So i decided to have a quick flip through.
Well i was pleasantly surprised!
She basically cooks with rice/spelt flour through out the whole book and uses other strange ingredients such as VEGETABLES...in cake!
So when i got home i bought it off amazon. I should get it tomorrow, so watch this space! I'm about to be cooking cakes with veg in them. lol
