Last nights dinner for breakfast

This morning when I came downstairs at 4AM, my nose was smacked by the smell of salmon and shallots. Not a good thing so early in the day. So I lit a couple of candles, changed and sprayed the trash container in hopes that the kitchen would smell yummy and sweet like a bakery kitchen as opposed to the onion guys trailer at Lowes.  It worked because when Ted came down to work out he commented on how nice the kitchen smelled.  One point scored for Thursday!

As for the workout, it was shoulders today. I went 40 minutes on the treadmill, just over 30 minutes working shoulders and abs then Shane and I went for a 35 min. jog.  He and I both were feeling pretty good, so we went over to MVCC and sprinted across the soccer field which was covered in snow.  We had fun. Shane was leaping up and down and grabbing the leash.  Good times!

Breakfast was 1/2 a grapefruit. 1/4 cup Bob’s Red Mill Steel Cut Gluten Free Oatmeal with 1/4 of a banana and 1 tsp of natural peanut butter, 1 tsp cinnamon.  Protein shake was VPX vanilla whey with 1/4 of a banana.

I plan on doing a Vegetarian Sloppy Joe mix tonight with sweet peas and served on top of mashed butternut squash.  Ted’s comment:  “So we’re having peas and squash”… my response “and Vegetarian Sloppy Joes”…Ted’s comment: “I’ll get something out. I don’t do well with Vegetarian”.   He’s such a party poop!
