Layers

By Marens Morsels (Visit website)

Hey friends. How?s the dreaded Mondays treating you?

Commuting over to campus was really nice. No traffic and the weather?s gorgeous. Couldn?t be a better winter day. 70 degrees and sunny. Gotta love Central California for this anomaly.

On the way over to campus I stopped for snack. I didn?t have time to plan this morning so my afternoon meals are all pre-packaged.

Coffee Break

I had an iced coffee with a little soy milk and a fruit and yogurt parfait. Layers of granola, non-fat yogurt, and strawberries and blueberries. Love these layers.

School is sort of stressing me out today. After I made it to campus I stopped by the Disability Resource Center. I  need a note taker for my Politics Class and I hadn?t received any of that information yet. Luckily, after talking to the receptionist she got me the note taker?s information. Having those notes before the review tomorrow will be so helpful.

I also did something so blonde before class. We have a project assignment due in my history of art course today. We have to write a paper and interview people on campus. Today our interview questions are due. I wrote a list of questions then this morning I had an epiphany that I needed a different set of questions for the different types of people I?ll end up interviewing for my topic. Now I have no questions to turn in and I have to explain my situation to the TA. Pray she understands and lets me e-mail her with a revised list tonight.

Lunch

It?s still January and I?m still trying to eat a salad a day. Even though I know I?ve been a little lacking. I?m shooting for 20 salads in a month now.

I really love this layer salad from Safeway. It?s always really fresh and it?s a perfect mini meal. The noodles give it some pretty great filling factor points too.

Once I get home I?m hoping to get in a 2.5 mile run according to my schedule. Then I have to do some studying since I?m hoping to get a lot out of the politics review session tomorrow afternoon. I also have practice at 5:15pm.

I?ll be so happy when this week is finally over. I have a great weekend planned with lots of hanging out with friends.

Question of the Day

Are you a creature of habit? I definitely am! Staples seem to get me through the day these days Winking smile
