"Life Is Peachy" Yogurt Smoothie---and finally some proof that spring has arrived.
Course you know that I got my Health Master in the other day. So I couldn't go to long with out using it. I mean how
can I stand by a product if I haven't used it yet? So I did. It was such a dream. First I thought I just might do juice to show you how great it works..but then I thought nah...I'll do a smoothie...my husband is the smoothie king! (By the way have you entered my Smoothie/Shake Contest? You could win a Health Master!)So I threw in a little bit of this and a little bit of that. It came out perfectly! Smooth..can you imagine such a thing? This baby has 4 power settings. Let me tell you that tamper the include with the machine is very useful and I did need it. Course you need it with a regular blender too but you can't put your spoon in while the machine is running can you? Well with this one you can! There weren't any chunks at all! Very, very pleased with it. But I have a secret to tell you...I didn't use fresh peaches....nope...there really isn't such a thing in NY a t this time of year..I used frozen. Hard as a rock frozen peaches..plus ice. And it didn't even groan. Now you know I love my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer right? (Here name is Beatrice by the way) Sometimes even Beatrice groans and she is strong too! So I came away impressed...so did my husband. Josh (my stepson) said that it was the best smoothie he ever had. I can't wait till James (my other stepson) comes over because he is going to freak out. My little sous chef loves to make smoothies. I was on http://www.myhealthmaster.com/ yesterday and part of the video has the Health Master pulverizing concrete into dust! You have to check it out! Here is the recipe (Boy its a hard one!) "Life is Peachy" Yogurt Smoothie (by Maman and Gourmand) 1 c. sliced frozen peaches 1 c. plain non fat yogurt 1 c. skim milk 1 tbsp. honey (or corn syrup) Combine all ingredients in container of electric blender. Process until smooth. (Of course you can totally fatten this up by using regular milk and yogurt but I felt it kind of defeated the purpose of "Health" Master. I would recommend doing it for kids if they don't like the fat free kind.) In other news: Yay...they are back too...ugh...I can already feel my allergies kicking up! related searches : Life
