Ingredients:
2 medium slices (300g) Mackerel/tenggiri
1 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
1 tbsp grounded/blended ginger
1 tsp dried mint leaves
1 1/2 tsp paprika
2 tbsp olive oil
salt to taste
Tamarind Sauce
70g Tamarind/Assam -add 1/4 cup of quarter and squeeze out the juice
1 medium size (80g) onion - sliced thinly
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp brown sugar
salt to taste
Mix all these ingredients in a bowl.

Preparation:
Marinate the fish with all the ingredients for about 3-4 hours except the oil.
When its time to grill the fish, heat up the portable grill over medium heat.
Drizzle in the olive oil and place the fish on top.
Grill on both sides until the fish is cooked and its dark brown in colour.
Serve with the tamarind sauce.
