Take green peas, mashed potatoes, paneer, green chilies, cilantro and bread crumbs in a bowl.
Mix well and make a ball.
Divide it into 8 equal portions and roll into a patty.
Heat the oil in pan on medium heat. Once hot shallow fry these patties.
It should be golden brown from both sides.
Now to assemble the burger, toast buns. Spread mayonnaise on bottom bun.
Put lettuce leave and cooked patty.
Put once slice of onion. Top it up with sliced tomato. Add ketchup if needed. Then close the bun and serve immediately.
Step 2: Notes
I preferred to use panko bread crumbs, if you get hands on it. It is seasoned Japanese style bread crumbs which give nice flavor to it.
Green chilies amount is to taste.
You can deep fry the patties, but I like to shallow fry for healthier version. Without deep frying still it taste great.
