  • I boiled chicken breasts. Once cooked, shred off the bone. For my batch, since I have teens that love gravy, I added 4 cans fat-free chicken soup, 3 packages dry chicken gravy mix, shredded chicken, and eyeballed the water, but approx. 8 or more cups. You don't want to have it to watery. It will either take too long to cook down, or will not cook down at all. I really needed more chicken soup, but ran out. And you can always take longer and make homemade gravy. While I cooked the gravy, I cut up everything and put into bowls. I also put the rice in the rice cooker and got it started. In bowls, you add the rice, gravy, and fixings!!! And EAT! It's So DELISH!!!!!!!!! And something different than the same ole', same ole'!!!
