Pork chops in aromatic beer sauce
(4.67/5 - 3 votes)I have cooked these pork chops in beer which is an old fashion way of doing pork and seems to combine well with it.
Recipe type: Main Dish
Number of serving: 4Preparation time: 15
Minute(s)Cook time: 12
Minute(s)Difficulty: Very Easy
Ingredients:4 pork chops
1 garlic clove
the zest of one lemon
a dash of olive oil
1 stick of rosemary
5 sage leaves
salt and pepper
a nod of butter
10 cl of red beer
Preparation:step 1
Rub the salt and pepper on both sides of the meat.
step 2
Chop finely the garlic and the herbs; add the lemon zest, the beer and stir the ingredients together.
step 3
Add a dash of olive oil in a pan and heat it. When hot, cook the chops for about 6 minutes on each side (make sure the meat is cooked through!).
step 4
When cooked take them out of the pan. Pour the beer sauce in the pan, add the butter and stir it all in for a minute until the butter has melt.
Serve the chops on the plates and pour the sauce on them.
