Ingredients:
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 pounds ground chuck
1 packet Lipton's Onion Soup Mix
1 small can tomato paste
2 cups water
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon basil
1 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons salt
Thin spaghetti cooked al dente
Chopped Italian parsley for garnish
Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish

Preparation:
Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and saute until translucent, about 5 minutes. Raise heat to medium-high, add beef, breaking up pieces and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
Sprinkle one packet of Lipton's Onion Soup mix over meat; add the tomato paste, water, oregano, basil, pepper and salt, stirring to mix all well. Let simmer, stirring occasionally, at least 20 minutes.
Either serve in a big bowl, pasta on the bottom, sauce poured over and garnishes on top, or individually, layered the same way.
