Ingredients:
3 pieces hard white tofu ( cut each diagonally to form 2 triangles)
Mix the tofu with 1 tsp rice flour and some salt. Deep fry until golden brown.
Remove and keep aside.
Other Ingredients
2 tbsp fish curry powder (or the amount you prefer)
1/2 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
2 bay leafs
4 shallots - sliced thinly
3 green chillies - remove seed and cut into 1 1/2 inch length
1 (100g) medium size tomato - sliced thinly
1 small bunch of coriander leaves - sliced into long pieces
1 1/2 tbsp thick tamarind/assam juice
3 tbsp oil
salt to taste

Preparation:
When oil is heated, saute the onions and green chillies to soften for about 3 mins.
Mix the curry powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder with some water to get a thick paste and add in. At the same time, the tomatoes and bay leafs goes in as well. Stir and let it cook until the oil floats.
Add 1/2 litre of water, the tamarind juice and salt to taste. Let it simmer to a boiling point.
Put in the fried tofu pieces and stir together. Let it boil for another 3-4 mins. Off the heat and stir in the coriander leaves.
