Maltese biscuits

These biscuits are a Maltese recipe. They are very simple biscuits. They're called "Biskuttini tar-rahal" which translated in English means Village biscuits. This is an old recipe I think its a recipe which poor farmers used to use in the old days. I still like these cookies especially dipped in tea. The aniseed add a distinctive taste to these cookies.
