Me & Mona McHottie

By Live.Love.Eat (Visit website)

You've heard of Mona, yes?. She's been travelling 'round the blogosphere & the country, hanging out with bloggers from all over. She graced me with her presence as well although I warned her how HOT it is down here in Florida.

She said she didn't mind, as long as we relaxed, stayed COOL by the water, and with plenty of refreshments. She came to the right place!

First, she helped me plan the spongiest party ever. A Bikini Bottom Pool Party. Spongebob himself greeted Mona. He was just as thrilled as I was to have her.

There's always a cast of characters at my house ~

A Ninja Turtle, Batgirl or Spidey.

Even Indiana Jones on occasion.

And sometimes ones made of balloons.

After playing superheroes, we rented a cabana by the river so we could kayak & enjoy refreshments all day long.

We saw some baby gators & a huge mama gator actually jump out of the water 15 feet from us.

Mona definitely needed a drink after that! As did I. Pick your poison.

It was time to hang at home by the pool, gatorless.

Mona ditched me for a bit to visit with a man who runs in her circles. Who could blame her.

Plus, I had my just-turned-6 handsome boy & hubs to hang out with.

Just when we got all cooled off, we decided to spend half a weekend watching the entire 1st season of True Blood on DVD. My oh my. Let's just say, Mona got a bit hot again.

I'm not sure who came to visit me in the middle of the night but those marks are fo' real!

But it's obvious who paid Mona a visit. It put a big smile on her face!!!!!! See?

{Mona, so glad you ended your visit with a Fang!}

By Wednesday she'll probably be somewhere in North Fork, WA with Bella or Bon Temps, LA with Sookie. Or maybe she's just visiting some other ladies. Go on over here to find out where.
