Melt - The World Cafe

By Wen's Delight (Visit website)

On Friday, my cousin was giving her mum (Aunt Peggy) and my aunt who is her Godma an early mother's day dinner at Melt-The World Cafe. So I tagged along too. Thanks Freda!

It's an International buffet @ $70++ per head for dinner on weekday nite and with UOB card promotion, 1 free with 3 paying. Though on weekday the spread are not as much as weekend but still it was impossible to try all of them. There were quite a few stations: Japanese, Appetizer & starter, American, Chinese, Indian, BBQ & Roast, Fresh seafood, Cakes, Nonya kueh, Fresh fruits, Choc fountain, Waffles & ice cream plus free flow of freshly brewed coffee, assorted tea & fresh juices. Among them the most impressive to me were the fresh seafood and dessert spread.

Here's some of the pictures I managed to snap but were not well taken due to my DC limitations and dim lighting. The most pics were from the dessert section as we sat nearby. Look at the cakes all were so deliciously presentable.

Here's what I had tasted...

My favourites are the Creamy cheese potatoes, Naan, Tandori chicken, mutton curry, pickled eggplant, Lamb rack, bittergoud soup, olive rice, all the fresh seafood, choc cakes, waffle & ice cream & macarons. Hope to try out their weekend's brunch somedays after reading review from Camemberu & Aromacookery. Drop by their blogs for professional reviews and photos of Melt - The World Cafe.

Overall was a very pleasant dining experience with great embience and attentive services. And so far the best International Buffet that I had tried before in term of the quality & varieties. Definitely will like to dine at Melt - The World Cafe again.
