Milagu Poondu Kulambhu
MILAGU POONDU KULAMBHU Kulambhu is a stew based on a broth made with tamarind. The dish is very popular as a side for rice in the southern regions of India especially in Tamil Nadu. Kulambhu vareities are countless, with each state in the South preparing it with a typical variation, adapted to its taste. Ingredients : Garlic - 10 pods Tamarind paste - 2 tbsp Sesame Oil - 3 tbsp Turmeric - 1 tsp Curry leaves - few Salt to taste To Grind : Malli seed - 1 tbsp Black Pepper - 1 tbsp Jeera - 1 tbsp Channa dal - 1 tbsp Red chilli - 3 Cashew nut - 3 Preparation : Heat a pan, add oil to the pan, add seasoning, curry leaves and red chilli.After it is done, add Garlic to the pan.
