Miso Soup
As promised here`s the miso soup, since its our first time to cook miso soup we opted to use granulated dashi instead of making one. There are lots of miso paste to choose from, so we limit our choice on all stocks catching our eye-level..and yes, it was a good choice. So much for that..here it is... Ingredients: 2 1/2 cup water 2 tbsp miso paste 1 tbsp granulated dashi 50g firm tofu, cubed 1 tsp, wakame (seaweed) (follow package instruction) chopped scallions fresh mushroom (optional) Procedure: 1. Boil water, add dashi. stir. Bring to boil 2. Add wakame, mushroom, tofu. Bring to boil. 3. Lower heat, until its not boiling 4. dissolve miso paste using a scoop of the dashi broth 5. When its not boiling anymore, add miso, and scallions.. stir.. 6. Serve. note: make sure its not boiling, before adding the miso. just to keep the distinct flavor of miso.
