Monthly Mingle ? Special Sweet Treats

What seems like eons ago, I emailed the lovely Meeta from the inspiring What’s For Lunch, Honey? about guest-hosting her monthly event “Monthly Mingle”. Well, my time as come, and I’m so excited to present this month’s theme:  Special Sweet Treats.

At first, Meeta and I had thought of this theme in regards to Mother’s Day, but as time often does, Mother’s Day has zipped past. But no matter! I know I am in need of an arsenal of Sweet Treats for all sorts of special occasions and the sky’s the limit! Send me your best ideas for special occasion goodies – they can be mailable treats, plated desserts, or good old fashioned comforting sweets.

Can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Here?s how it works:

Create a dish that fits the Special Sweet Treats theme as described above.
Post about it on your blog from now till 14 June 2010 (entries must be in English, please).
Your creation should be prepared for the current Monthly Mingle theme and only shared with a maximum of 2 other blog events. Let’s try and keep the creations as fresh as the ingredients you use.
