Murungakkai Kara Kuzhambu (Drumstick spicy curry)
Ingredients
Drumsticks chopped : 1 cup Small onion : 3/4 cup Garlic : 1/4 cup Chopped tomato : 1/4 cup Tamarind water : 2 cups Red chilly powder : 2 tbsp Coriander powder : 1 tbsp Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp Mustard fenugreek seeds Curry leaves Oil Salt Method Heat oil in a kadai ,add mustard, feugreek seeds , curry leaves one by one. Add onions, garlic and chopped tomatoes. Put drumstick pieces and saute it. Put red chilly powder, coriander powder , turmeric powder and mix well . Add tamrind water, salt and allow it to cook. When the drumstick pieces are almost cooked swich off the flame and garnish with more curry leaves. Serve hot with plain rice.
