Nougat namaz iz ku?ne radinosti / Homemade Nougat Spread

Zadnjih dana imam neku ?udnu ?elju za Nutellom. Ne znam za?to. Ina?e ju ne kupujemo i ne konzumiramo ?esto, ali ja sam je se iz nekog meni nepoznatog razloga za?eljela. Svaki put kad je kupim ustanovim da mi je preslatka i brzo je se zasitim. Ali bez obzira na to, s vremena na vrijeme me uhvati neka neobi?na ?udnja za tim nougat namazom.

Ovaj put, umjesto da je kupim, probala sam je napraviti sama i to po svom ukusu. Moram priznati da je stvarno ispalo odli?no. Nije ni pribli?no tako slatka kao original, ?to je bila i poanta, a aroma pr?enih lje?njaka puno vi?e dolazi do izra?aja. Konzistencijom je ovaj namaz tako?er druga?iji od originalne Nutelle. ?vrst je i kompaktan, ali svejedno kremast i nema nikakvih problema s mazanjem na kruh. Meni je ipak najdra?e uzeti ?licu i jesti direktno iz staklenke :)


Ako ?elite da va? namaz bude konzistencijom sli?niji originalu, pove?ajte koli?inu slatkog vrhnja, a ako volite slatko, dodajte ?e?era po vlastitom naho?enju.

Nougat namaz iz ku?ne radinosti

300 ml slatkog vrhnja
2 vanilin ?e?era
mahuna vanilije
nekoliko kapi arome vanilije
200 g pr?enih olju?tenih lje?njaka
230 g mlije?ne ?okolade
2 ?lice gorkog kakaa
75 g maslaca


Lje?njake fino sameljite, a ?okoladu naribajte ili nasjeckajte. U posudu stavite vrhnje, vanilin ?e?er, sr? vanilije i nekoliko kapi arome vanilije. Zagrijavajte na laganoj vatri do to?ke vrenja uz stalno mije?anje kako bi se ?e?er otopio. Dodajte lje?njake i kuhajte na laganoj vatri oko 10 minuta stalno mije?aju?i. Maknite s vatre pa smjesu propasirajte u multipraktiku kako biste dobili glatku kremu.


Kremu od lje?njaka ponovo vratite na vatru. Dodajte joj maslac, ?okoladu i kakao te mije?ajte dok se ?okolada ne otopi. Ostavite da se malo ohladi, a zatim ulijte u staklenku, dobro ju zatvorite i namaz stavite u hladnjak preko no?i. Od ove koli?ine trebali biste dobiti oko 3/4 litre namaza.

Idu?i dan ga nama?ite na omiljeni kruh i u?ivajte.


Homemade Nougat Spread
Makes about 3/4l of spread.

300ml heavy cream
2 bags of vanilla flavored sugar (10g each)
1 vanilla bean pod
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
200g of roasted hazelnuts, finely ground
230g good quality milk chocolate, cut into pieces
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
75g butter, diced

Pour the heavy cream into a saucepan. Add vanilla flavored sugar, vanilla extract and vanilla bean seeds. Put on a low heat and cook until it almost reaches boiling point. Then add the hazelnuts and cook on a very low heat for 10 minutes, stirring constantly so it doesn't burn. Remove from heat and transfer to your food processor. Process until you get a smooth creamy mixture (about 30 seconds). Transfer it back to the saucepan and put on a low heat. Add the butter, chocolate and cocoa powder and stir until it all melts and becomes smooth.

Pour the hot mixture into a sterilized glass jar, close it with a lid and refrigerate over night. The next morning, spread it on your favorite slice of bread and enjoy your homemade breakfast. :)

*Since this recipe asks for only 10g of sugar,it is not very sweet, so if you have a sweet tooth I suggest you add some more sugar. Also, this particular spread is a bit thicker than Nutella. If you would like it to be more similar in consistency to Nutella, you can omit butter completely and use more heavy cream.
