Nutropolitan Museum of Art this weekend in NYC!

March is National Peanut Month! In celebration, come stop by the Nutropolitan Museum of Art – the world’s first PB and J art exhibit. Peanut Butter & Co., the local Greenwich Village sandwich shop, along with The National Peanut Board is running a three day art exhibit at the Openhouse Gallery dedicated to the wonders of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. This FREE exhibit features a collection of peanut butter-related photography and peanut buttery fun activities!

Come by and you’ll receive a FREE jar of Peanut Butter & Co. peanut butter (limit one per family, while supplies last). In addition, Peanut Butter & Co. will donate a second jar to the Food Bank NYC in your honor.

Last night, I attended the Launch Party and got a preview of the PB and J art gallery. There was a variety of peanut inspired savory and sweet bites as well as wine and cocktails. I posted a couple of pictures from last night here and will be sharing more pictures later.

I’m such a fan of peanut butter sandwiches and I’m always interested in discovering delightful ways to compile tasty and amusing sandwiches. One of my favorites… the combination of peanut butter and banana! Imagine that between two slices of bread and grilled! yum! Not to mention, crushed peanuts are a nice addition sprinkled over various dishes and or incorporated into sauces.

So, go check out the exhibit this weekend if you get the chance, grab your jar of tasty peanut butter, and have some fun!
